1 1/2 sticks butter (not margarine)
1 c. sugar
7/8 c. ground blanched almonds
4 - 5 small Hershey bars
1 c. ground pecans
Melt butter in heavy sauce pan. Add sugar and almonds. Stir constantly until mixture starts to smoke at scorching stage. Pour immediately into well buttered cookie sheet. Spread as thin as possible by working with 2 knives. Place unwrapped Hershey bars on top to melt. Spread chocolate. Sprinkle pecans on top. Set to cool. Break into pieces when cold and keep in a cool, dry place.
