Banana Bread:

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs unbeaten
2 big bananas diced or crushed
1/2 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
2 c. sifted flour
1 t. vanilla
Mix flour and other dry ingredients to the bananas. Mix well. Stir in 2 eggs and vanilla. Bake in square pan until done.
