3 T. honey OR 1/4 c. sugar
2 T. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. sifted flower
2 t. baking powder
1 t. salt

Mix honey and shortening. Beat eggs and milk. Add to honey. Add cornmeal and sifted dry ingredients. Pour into hot, greased pan. Bake 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees.
